How do I share my FAQ page with customers?
Once you've added your FAQ entries, go to the Share & Embed tab. You'll find your unique FAQ page URL (e.g. toolscourt.com/faq/your-id) which you can share anywhere — link to it from your website footer, email signature, or support auto-replies. You can also embed it directly on any website using the provided iframe code.
Can I use this FAQ builder without creating an account?
Yes. No account or login is required. Your FAQ page is identified by a unique ID stored in your browser. The first time you visit this tool, a unique workspace ID is created automatically. Keep this ID safe — it's how you access and manage your FAQ in future visits.
What happens if I lose my FAQ workspace ID?
Your workspace ID is stored in your browser's localStorage. If you clear your browser or switch devices, you'll lose access to manage the FAQ (though the published page remains live). We recommend copying your workspace ID from the green box at the top of the Manage tab and saving it somewhere safe.
Is there a limit to how many FAQ entries I can have?
The free tier supports up to 20 FAQ entries. This is enough for most small businesses to cover their most common questions. If you need more, upgrade to our paid plan which offers 100 entries (Basic), 500 (Pro), or unlimited (Business and above).
Can I add categories to organise my FAQs?
Yes. Each FAQ entry has an optional Category field. Add categories like "Billing", "Shipping", "Returns" or "Account" and your FAQ page will automatically group and display entries under those headings. This makes it much easier for customers to find relevant answers quickly.
